A Word from Our Fearless Leader

Registration is Closed

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone this October.

Due to increasing prices for supporting infrastructure, we are reluctantly increasing the entry fees. The entry fees for the week will be increased from $90 to $110, and the weekend, from $50 to $60. This is still per astronomer, not per person.

You may also go to PayPal directly to send your registration. Use our email address, stauntonriverstarparty@gmail.com to find us. The fees again are $110 for the full week and $60 for the weekend (Thursday-Sunday). Please add a message including your name as you would want it on your name tag and how many people will be coming with you. This way we can give the park a head count.

We’re looking forward to another great Star Party.

The spring star party was an amazing event. The forecast was bleak to say the least, however, the Staunton River Magic happened and brought clear skies every night. Maybe not all night, but we observed every night for at least two hours. Looking for a repeat of the magic.

If you have a talk that you would like to present, let us know and we will make it happen.

Again, we are looking forward to seeing everyone in March.
